Um...okay I’ve managed to get to level 6-1, unfortunately, it doesn’t appear I’ll be able to finish the game- the screen goes black in this level- I start over only to have it happen again. The mechanics are awesome .
I get to the tower section and make it to where I crash through a plank, draw and grab a rope, bust through a wall, and then I need to wormhole to a rope but nothing I do let’s me catch that rope. The game is laggy and runs poorly the farther you get in the game. The only reason I rated this game four stars is because the controls can sometimes get annoying so it makes it hard to beat a level. Issues primarily around the use special powers.

Max: The Curse of Brotherhood is a cinematic adventure filled with action-packed platforming and creative puzzle-solving. It also keeps crashing on me right in the middle of a level and I keep having to start them over. I loved how many levels there were, made for good game play for about a week on and off for me personally! I play this over and over. I would really recommend this game to everyone who likes adventure.I’m a few levels in now, on level 5 I think, and I just gotta say this is one is one of the best iOS games I’ve experienced. A lot of people said the controls were crappy and that the game crashed consistently. Awesome game.I enjoyed the game but the controls are too touchy especially the thumb/finger control on the left of screen.

Controls were fine once you got the hang of it...I played on an iPhone XS Max so maybe that’s why they worked well for me. As a develop myself I couldn’t find a good solution either. For any fan of Oceanhorn, or action/adventure side scroller, you will thoroughly enjoy this game. Not only are the graphics out of this world! The “jump” button only works about 80% of the time. I can’t wait for Max 3!

The game does not save your progress correctly, forcing you to redo large portions of each part of the game to get back to where you left off. The animations between gameplay are wonderful. It’s very frustrating and no matter how great the game is, it loses its draw quickly for me.This game is full of action and mind-bending puzzles that make you utilize your reflexes and wits to finish. Plus the game could do with some checkpoints since the stages are a bit long. Fix the glitch please.A game that has a “feature” that requires you to swipe up from the bottom of the screen during gameplay?
Save your money until these problems are fixed.Just finished it. Also the level where you are escaping with the brother in the metal ball has a glitch where you are unable to get the ambulate piece.
