Please make sure that you are posting in the form of a question. Have tried over & over, many different ways, wireless controllers won't pair up.. Won't even "Flash" like directions claim. Very misleading and very disappointing!! I had high hopes that I would be playing this every night after getting home from work.

By the way, an HDMI cable is not included. I put a file full of homebrews and classic Atari games onto my flashback 9 and you'll be surprised how many homebrews of modern games are on the 2600. This system is only $40 which is less than the price of one modern day game! All games using joysticks work well and all joysticks original or new seem to work well. Amazing!I ordered The Atari Flashback 9.. which clearly stated that it was an HDMI output for your TV. If you want to revisit your gaming past from 40 years ago it is great. If your someone who's looking into getting this for a wow facture your gonna get disappointed. Just go to YouTube and you will figure it out why this is such a big deal. Select your address
We found that only 3 of the games operate correctly and none of those are the most popular ones desired. One thing that AtGames promised buyers of their seventh release was the eventual release of bespoke, wired paddle controllers for the system but those are still not out. My 10 year old nephew was not impressed and gave up trying to play after about 10 minutes. ... Goodreads Book reviews & recommendations: IMDb Movies, TV & Celebrities: IMDbPro Get Info Entertainment Professionals Need: Kindle Direct Publishing Indie Digital Publishing Made Easy Also Atari paddles don't work like they say and the company isn't selling paddle so forget Kaboom and others.

This console could have been much greater with a little more effort. AtGames, if you are going to start something with potential, go all the way with it! Sadly, my hand-eye coordination has diminished to the point where these games were no longer fun to play.

I saw the 5 star reviews and thought maybe they had figured out the connection issues for the controllers. I currently have over 1000 games on the system. We were really looking forward to playing some games from our teen years but we’ll just have to live off of the memories. The hardware, packaging, and shipping, get's a big fat A+ in my book. 289 global ratings | 140 global reviews

Stop dancing around and just go ahead and make one great all-in-one Atari Flashback Console that includes every Atari game from the 2600, 5200 and 7800. I give it a 3 out of 5.

This would have made so much more sense instead of making 10 separate Flashback consoles with mixed features, outputs, inputs, accessories and games.

By the way, an HDMI cable is not included. My only complaint is the controllers. What arrived was a previously used device that had RCA outputs one for video and the other for audio..What gives I cannot even use this on the modern flat screen TV .. The hardware, packaging, and shipping, get's a big fat A+ in my book. Brings back so many memories.

I have zero lag, which is critical in games like Asteroids.

Unfortunately, now that I'm almost 50, these games which were fun to play as a child are now much, much more challenging than I remember them being back in the early 80s. It's a gift for my Dad (he likes Frogger), so I figured I'd try to set it up for him since the reviews state the instructions to pair the controllers don't work. System boots quickly. The greatest feature is the addition of the SD slot! The Atari Flashback 9 made one HUGE change by adding a SD card slot. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

I even purchased a 15 foot HDMI cable in anticipation of arrival. It will not load the games and if it does the game freezes immediately. Now unfortunately it's to late to return it even for credit. Just go to YouTube and you will figure it out why this is such a big deal. The cords are very short. Menu system is nice. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. I ordered The Atari Flashback 9.. which clearly stated that it was an HDMI output for your TV. I had the original Atari as a kid and this was a lot of fun to have.

Atari was my first console.l bought the FB8, and loved it. This is not the original console from the 70's which uses cartridges. So, I've had the item for about 20 minutes.
I had no intension of getting another FB! This console includes every Atari 2600 paddle game, even has a menu option to select paddle games but doesn't include a pair of compatible paddles in the box! I'll tell you exactly what the main problem is.

Not sure if those two games are worth the $60 I paid, but, it looks cool just sitting next to my cable box. I even purchased a 15 foot HDMI cable in anticipation of arrival.

Didn't bother me because I have plenty. Just go to YouTube and you will figure it out why this is such a big deal. But there are those few games that make you say "This is a Atari game?!" I am very disappointed..I suppose the included games are good..but if you cannot connect it what good is it. Overall it was fun.

!

I give it a 3 out of 5. The main problem is the absence of paddles as well as the incompatibility of existing paddles. I bought this with reservations after reading about the controller issues.
