I'm finished reading The 39 Clues: The Black Book of Buried Secrets by Rick Riordan. In Guatemala City, Guatemala, the Cahills and Rosenblooms are at the La Aurora International Airport. It gives you a lot of information about the different branches of the Cahill family, including weapons of choice, founding members, current agents, and strongholds. In Delaware, Dr. Brent Bechelheimer is trying to expose Nellie as a fraud, but she uses pictures of his gnoming hobby in order to portray him as unstable. It makes it all seem more real.The book the 39 clues and the black book of buried secrets I thought was a good book it gave a lot of interesting facts and it talks about a lot of secrets about the world and it also has a mission for you that is super top secret and is only in the hands of someone good and it's a mystery for those who will find the 39 clues first you or the characters. Dan inhales chloroform in order to pass out. Readers get to see what happens to Dan, Amy, Natalie, Ian etc. And you go through mysteries and you have to solve them and when you get all 39 clues you win and find out what the 39 clues are all about.
It gave a lot of background on the different branches of the Cahills, but it was a bit like reading through a dictionary - not meant as a stand alone entertaining read. They discover that Ian and Natalie's mother, Isabel Kabra, has joined the hunt. Pursuing the clue hidden in Grace's library leads to the En route to Vienna, the Holts try to steal the clue from Amy, Dan, and Nellie, only to find it torn to shreds by Saladin.
All that being said, I really enjoy the series which introduces children to geography and history that they may not otherwise be exposed to. The ultimate guide to the New York Times bestselling series, with an introduction by Rick Riordan! The Clue Hunt may be over, but the story will continue with book 11: Vespers Rising. It has thrilling stories, background information, origins, and codes.

The book begins with Dan Cahill, who was abducted by Cara and Galt Pierce. I am hoping that as the I think I would have enjoyed it more if I read it immediately following the last book in the Clue Hunt.
I've read this before, as well as series one and two of the 39 clues saga. There are no reviews yet. The last clue is the serum formula, which Dan memorizes, but no one wants it anymore.
